Well, courtesy of a windfall on the Irish Lottery the other week, rather than waste all that money on silly things, like bills, I put it to good use, and got a nice shiny new white lens.

The Canon 100-400 L, IS. What a beast. And to compliment it, a nice 1.4 converter. Not really had an opportunity to test it thoroughly yet; the weather has been dreadful, but as soon as something decent is taken, I’ll put it in the Gallery.

It’s certainly a weight to have around the neck; maybe I should join a health club or something.
